Whitby Dunlops unveil Wall of Fame
WHITBY — Ron Baker and Matt Cardwell admitted it was difficult coming to the Iroquois Park Sports Centre Saturday night and not lacing up the skates for the Whitby Dunlops.
But, the ceremony they were there to be part of certainly helped ease the pain.
The two stalwarts, who had been with the team for each of the seven years since it was resurrected in 2004, had their names etched onto a new Dunlop Wall of Fame alongside Doug Williams, who was also in attendance, the deceased Bobby Attersley and Don Sanderson, and the 1958 world championship team…
